Though STPA is known for its rigorous academics, their various sports and clubs thrive. One thing very noticeable is that the students above all have anyone’s back and are very friendly in various situations. The faculty and administration tries their hardest to help any student who is having difficulty or stress. All the teachers fully understand the student point of view and help all feel challenged at their own pace. Middle School Student: STPA is such a healthy and understanding environment to be in. It seems some people who have issues don’t really research what the IB curriculum is actually like or what sports and extracurricular programs are offered before choosing to send kids here. Most the teachers and administrators have been very responsive when I have a concern. We actually prefer the low-key aspect of the sports since it allows kids the opportunity to be on their school team in sports they might not have a lot of prior experience in. The sports and extracurricular activities are limited compared to surrounding districts but most people who choose this school are aware of this and don’t expect the same. However, it appears most teachers are still covering the staar material as 2 of my kids received perfect scores on the math and reading staar several times. I like that the teachers don’t just teach to the staar like surrounding districts. In our experience the academic aspect is very strong. 2022, Private School Universe Survey (PSS): This site provides access to information on the PSS as well as links to reports and data tables using PSS data.Parent: This school is a great fit for my kids but it’s not for everyone.2022, Common Core of Data (CCD) School and Agency Reports: This site provides annual reports describing public schools and their characteristics (type magnet, charter, and Title I status urbanicity size) and counts of students.Other Resources: (Listed by Release Date) Expenditures of educational institutions related to the gross domestic product, by level of institution: Selected years, 1929–30 through 2019–20 2021, Digest of Education Statistics 2020, Table 106.10.Public elementary and secondary schools, by level, type, and state or jurisdiction: 1990–91, 2000–01, 2009–10, and 2019–20 2022, Digest of Education Statistics 2021, Table 216.70.Number and percentage distribution of public elementary and secondary schools and enrollment, by level, type, and enrollment size of school: 2017–18 through 2019–20 2022, Digest of Education Statistics 2021, Table 216.40.Number of public elementary and secondary schools, by school level, type, and charter, magnet, and virtual status: 2009–10 through 2019–20 2022, Digest of Education Statistics 2021, Table 216.10.
